Did you know there’s a way to support the causes you care about while being mindful of your taxes?
For individuals age 70½ and older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows you to give directly from your IRA to a qualified 501(c)(3) charity without paying federal income tax on the amount donated. For many retirees, a QCD may also satisfy part or all of their Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).
